hard candy lash ink; a review
hard candy lash ink may look like an ordinary mascara, but it is actually a lash stain. have you even heard of that before!? i’ve never seen anything like it. it’s a pretty nifty concept though! it is a 4 day lash stain mascara,
“mascara that won’t quit until you do. flatter your flutter for 4 days straight! lash ink 4 day lash stain defies the elements, paint on lashes and don’t reapply mascara for up to 4 days! shower, go to the pool, cry, rub your eyes, or get rained on-your lashes will stay flawless no matter the circumstances!”

believe it or not, it really lasts! it could even last longer than 4 days depending on your circumstances. this would be perfect for those with blonde eyelashes or even someone who doesn’t have time to put on makeup every morning! you can apply this the night before and you’ll be good for 4 days straight! now this really stains your lashes, and you can even build it up like you would mascara, but only use this if you really want it to last the 4 days because it won’t be easy to take off. if you must take it off, any oil based eye makeup remover should work. but i don’t know why you would want it to come off! it’s one less thing to worry about in the morning. it doesn’t flake, it is super pigmented so it goes on black and stays the same color all throughout the wear. it does not fade. a trick i’ve picked up with this is to curl your lashes before you apply it and everyday after that to give your lashes that extra perk! i would definitely recommend this to those who think applying mascara every morning is tedious or those with blonde lashes. i give this an overall rating of 10/10! the packaging is adorable, it comes in a very high-end looking case for a not so high-end price, and it really does what it says it does!

hard candy plumping serum volumizing lip gloss; a review.
hard candy is a drugstore brand you can only find online and at walmart, if you have not heard of this brand, you should know that they are 100% vegan. which is really hard to find. no animals were harmed. also, the packaging of hard candy is like no other at the drugstore. it is similar to urban decays packaging in a sense but for a fraction of the price! it’s very artsy, bright, packaging that looks great in your makeup bag and is just so cute. i am not a lip gloss kind of girl but this changed my mind about lip gloss. this lip gloss is the perfect consistency, it is not too sticky & not too runny. it is just perfect. it has a pleasant smell, pleasant taste, and lasts about 4 hours without eating or drinking. which is awesome for a drugstore brand. i have the color “dunes” and it is a sheer pinky-coral with shimmer in it. it’s really pretty on the lips. as far as the “volumizing” and “plumping serum”, i saw a slight difference, but nothing substantial. if you are just looking for something to plump your lips, this is not for you. but if you are just looking for an everyday, long lasting, pretty, affordable lip gloss, i would definitely recommend this. this is now my go-to lip gloss, it is in my everyday makeup bag. i’m really loving this and you should check it out.
my lips before hard candy’s plumping serum volumizing lip gloss in “dunes”

my lips after.

(not the greatest picture, you can’t see the detail of the shimmer in it, but it’s really pretty on the lips! hopefully this just gives you an idea of the “plumping” it does)

wet n wild color icon trios: a review
as some of you may know, i’m doing a giveaway right now of 10 pairs of eyelashes, and 3 of these trios. everyone seems excited about the lashes, but let me tell you about these shadows! these are fantastic. the pigmentation is amazing, the color you see is the color you get. another cute thing about these, is that you get a regular sponge-tip applicator, AND you get a mini brush! it actually isn’t that bad! i’ve used it. it would come in handy for traveling. it’s small enough to get into your crease, but not too small. you can use this for your lid color, crease color, and highlight color. the eyeshadows are soft and apply smoothly. i just love them! now as far as being dupes for mac, i would have to disagree. some people say they are dupes, but they’re not. maybe some colors are, but they aren’t the same. the wet n wild shadows are soft, while mac shadows aren’t as soft. which means they last longer. it goes with how much pressure they use when they press the shadows. the more pressure they use, the harder the shadows, and the longer they last. but for $2.99 a trio, which makes about $1 a shadow, they are really good quality. also, there is 3.5 g of wet n wild shadow, and only 1.5 in mac eyeshadow. so it’s really affordable, and you get alot of product! i would definitely recommend these to beginners, and even experienced makeup users. now i own the trio “on cloud nine”

and they are all beautiful colors. i am giving away “i got good jeans” a fun, colorful trio for brighter looks
“sweet as candy” a more neutral trio for everyday looks
and “don’t steal my thunder” a darker, edgier trio for going out, smokey eye looks
revlon photo ready foundation: a review
i picked up this foundation with high hopes a couple of months ago, i heard really good things about this. my first impression, this made my face too shiny. i like a dewy effect, which is why i almost never wear powder, but this was crazy. but i had applied it at night and wasn’t necessarily in the right lighting to know what it was really like. as for the consistency, it is really creamy and blendable. it applies well. i have applied this with a stippling brush, but it did not look good, it looks best applied with your fingers, as i feel every foundation does. so i put threw this foundation in my makeup collection and forgot about it, and continued to use my l’oreal true match foundation. when i started to run out, though, recently i went back to photo ready and now i love it! it doesn’t look too shiny, it gives your skin a nice healthy glow, i’ve actually used powder with this and it doesn’t completely matte my face, which is a good thing. one thing i’ve noticed is that this foundation is shimmery, which sounds crazy, i know. but you can’t really see it on your face when you apply it,but you can see it in the bottle, and when you wash your face sometimes the shimmer doesn’t come off of your face. it’s weird, but i still like the foundation. i wear the lightest shade, of course. which matches my skin tone pretty well. it gives light/medium coverage, which is what i like. i am 18 years old and have relatively good skin, so i don’t need full coverage. give this foundation a 8/10.

a review. MAYBELLINE XXL CURL POWER
this mascara makes the BIGGEST difference in the look of my lashes. this is one of my favorite mascaras ever. i have used it for a few years, and stick with it. i watch youtube gurus alot, and have never heard any one of them mention this. but this mascara is AMAZING, not even for the mascara, but the primer part makes a huge difference. i like the mascara end a lot, too, but the primer is what makes this special. if you curl your lashes and then put this primer on, let dry for about 30 seconds, and then go over with any other mascara. or the mascara on the other end. but the mascara on the other end runs out a lot faster than the primer, so i usually use L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black and it works fantastically. the mascara end of it lasts about 2 months, and the primer lasts 3-4 months. maybe even longer. technically, you are supposed to throw out mascara after 3 months, but i never do, i wait until it runs out. as for the mascara end of it, its consistency is not too dry and not too wet. a consistency i prefer. the curved brush on both ends works really well, it does make a difference, it curves with the shape of your eye. i like working with this, it is what i use EVERYDAY. i swear, it’s just amazing. and no one ever talks about it. so i just wanted to share it with you. and hope you get a chance to try it out. you can find it at your local target, walmart, rite-aid, walgreens, or any drugstore. the price varies from where you live but it usually retails around $8, and worth every penny
i am thinking about doing a product review.
will any of you be interested? if this post gets 3 likes, i will put up a review of a drugstore product. :)
